Residential Deck Extension

Construction completed.

A ~30m² deck extension for a residential property on the edge of the Waikato River gully. The brief was to give the house a proper outdoor threshold, replacing the conservatory's windows with doors and resolving a ~2.5m exposed drop to ground.

I ran the project from site measure-up through to construction-ready documentation: transcribing 1960s-80s hand-drafted records into CAD to build a verified base set, producing PIM and building consent drawings (plans, elevations, sections, construction details), and coordinating with suppliers and engineers on balustrading, bracing, and PS1 producer statement pathways. Design resolution worked around the river gully hazard area requirements and existing stormwater infrastructure. Construction completed.
